Gerson Certified Caregiver Referral

In order to achieve success, most people need to follow the Gerson Therapy diet for at least two years. The food preparation methods alone, of three meals and up to 13 daily juices from 20 pounds of organic vegetables and fruits, can be quite labor intensive. People using the Therapy can often benefit from an outside Caregiver doing activities such as freshly preparing their foods and juices throughout the day. For this reason, the Gerson Institute developed a program to train and certify Caregivers in the basics of the Gerson Therapy.

These Caregivers go through a training process, including successful completion of the Caregiver and Gerson Therapy Basic Training Class, a week-long internship program, a written test and an interview. Once they are certified, the Caregivers are added to the Gerson Institute Approved Referral List.

Gerson patients can contact our office and request names of caregivers in their area. Please contact Blanca Ayala at bayala@gerson.org for a current caregiver contact.
